SECTION TWO: PROCESS EXECUTION
STEP #1
If the page is created using external editor, like LeadPages or Ontrapages, check some wordpress editor (like WP Bakery).
STEP #2
Check tracking codes if all are required.
Some pages don’t need Hotjar, FB retarget, Deadlinefunnels, etc.
STEP #3
Look for the slowest scripts and replace it by something else - contact us form - zopim - can really slow it down by 1-2 seconds.
STEP #4
Check for failed scripts. Why are they failing? Do we need them?
STEP #5
Use CDN for image processing.
STEP #6
Check the “Google tag assistant” and “Facebook pixel helper” to identify all scripts that are running on the page.
STEP #7
Switch to static pages? Wordpress plugin Simply Static
https://wordpress.org/plugins/simply-static/
