SECTION ONE: PROCESS OVERVIEW

As of April 2020, BTA has 2 servers with Linode. Both of them are managed by IT Syndicate, so it is usually not needed to make any updates or changes directly on the server.

SECTION TWO: PROCESS EXECUTION

One of the servers is for all public sites and the other one private - as we don't want any of the private parts to have a possible impact on the private one (paid):

Live-MBTA runs just members.bettertraderacademy.com subdomain

Live-BTA-Rest runs bettertraderacademy.com and all other wordpress sites

For security reasons, it is required to log in as user1 first and then change to root. It is not possible to log in directly as root.

Both of them have automatic backups set every week (keeps the last 3) plus one manual snapshot:

All of them are in “domains”. Andrew Swanscott is the owner of all domains and redirects the DNS to Linode using NS records.
