SECTION ONE: PROCESS OVERVIEW

In Leadpages we create most of our websites. It is important to keep them up to date and modify as required.

Here are the lists of all existing URLs for our courses, check it before you publish a new one and update it once after a new one is published:

SECTION TWO: PROCESS EXECUTION

In the overview, we use a green color code to indicate which pages are actively used and which are not active any more:

Best way to create a page is to take existing page and copy it to make sure that the same standards are used. For the new page, this is what needs to be done:

• Check the favicon (styles - favicon),


• Update SEO title + description (settings -> SEO) - mark if you want to search engines to index this page


• If the page is meant to be shared on social media, update also “social” tab


• Analytics (settings -> analytics) - check the tracking codes, updates them, ideally leave just google tag manager code (GTM) and publish all other code through there

Then of course the content of the page including footer.

Once published, go to wordpress site where you want this page to be published, look for “leadpages - add new”:

Select the page:

Select a page type (usually it will be a normal page):

And update the final URL:

Most of our pages we don't want to be included in search engines results so you can confirm this again using the Yoast SEO plugin:

If the page is published on members.bettertraderacademy.com, you can add a conditional redirect for certain users (example: if someone already has SFB, don’t display SFB upsell):

To edit a page in Leapdages, it is not always easy to link the right page in leadpages with the URL. There is a trick for that. Open the URL, for example:

https://www.tradingmarketinternals.com/

Add a bookmark using this process:

So when you have the page open and you click the bookmark, page editor will open and you are sure you are editing the right page.
