SECTION ONE: PROCESS OVERVIEW
TITLE: What are you calling this process?
> Create video from webinar
SUMMARY: A one-sentence description of the process.
> When we have a coaching call we publish a recording as some of our students cannot attend it.
WHY: Briefly explain why the process is important.
> People who purchase the course after the call would miss it as well as people who cannot attend the live broadcast.
INTERVAL: How often does this process need to be complete?
> Every time we want to publish a recorded webinar.
SECTION TWO: PROCESS EXECUTION
STEP #1
1.1 Use the last version of the presentation - the one that was used for the live broadcast and add questions that we have received during the call by chat. The chat transcript will help with that - especially with names, we don’t want to have our client’s names misspelled.
It is preferred to have the questions in the presentation in the same order as they were asked during the call - as it is easier to create the video.
1.2 Once you have an updated presentation, check that all animations are there and use PPT Split add-on to create one slide for each animation step. Once this is done, save as PNG format and provide all these files to video editor.
1.3 You can upload the presentation PDF to the Amazon S3 drive.
STEP #2
Contact the audio editor to clean up the audio. He can cut parts with “ehm” and some repetitions as the video from the recording won’t be used - it will be done from presentation slides.
STEP #3
Once you receive edited audio file, create a transcript using rev.com service - that needs to be checked after you receive it.
STEP #4
Provide audio file to video editor. To create video from this audio and the PNG files provided in step #1.
STEP #5
When the video file is completed, upload it to Vimeo using these instructions and create a downloadable MP3 file using these instructions. And upload the file to Amazon S3 drive.
STEP #6
Get a list of questions in chronological order with beginning and ending times of each of the questions.
These times will be used as bookmarks - when a user clicks the link, it will jump to the specified time in the video. And once they reach the ending time for given question, it will be marked as completed.
STEP #7
Create a new page for this recording in WordPress by copying an existing Wordpress page - to make sure that the access rights are the same. Don’t use access tags for another course - clients wouldn’t be able to access it.
- Update the vimeo code
- Check access tags
- Change auto-complete checkbox time (to be 15s before the end of the video)
- Add the page with recording to the lesson overview page to other recordings (or create a new section for that)
- Make sure that the “green tick” works and the lesson is marked as indicated (the page ID needs to be updated in tablepress)
- Add the new lesson to the ProgressAlly settings - list of the lessons to make sure that the progress bar at the top of the page includes this new lesson as well (based on the page ID)
STEP #8
Add all downloadable files to the zip files in the download section as well.
STEP #9
Once published, send an email announcement to all clients having access to the course and post it also in the forum (or slack for Elite).
STEP #10
Update the stack offer by adding this new coaching call on sales page and emails.
For the BOS Masterclass, it is the following locations:
- sales page video (video editor)
- sales page copy and images
- email BOSM EG Day 7.2 $..... worth of bonuses for FREE
